A fitness sport for everyone, no matter what age or ability. Pettneu and the entire region are the ideal location for Nordic Walking, magnificent scenery, well-maintained paths and a mountain climate, which alone is already considered beneficial to your health.
Climbing
Nerves of steel, like the cable you hang on, courage, endurance, strength and skill - mountain enthusiasts will need all this on the via ferrata around the Arlberg.
High and low ropes course in the Verwall valley
Directly on the shore of the Rosanna river, not only the pulse will rise. Climb between the trees on the high and low ropes courses at a height of around 6 metres. Great fun for the whole family.
Fishing
“Tight lines” in Tirol - fishing is a recommended past time in St. Anton am Arlberg, Pettneu and Flirsch. Fishing takes place in the Rosanna rover, from the “Giesi-Bach” all the way to the eastern fishing border, Schnann, the sanctuary near to the railway bridge as per markers.
Swimming
As a guest at the Hotel Pettneuerhof, you have unlimited and free-of-charge entry to the indoor pool of the Wellnesspark Pettneu. In addition to this, you can enjoy one free entry to the Arlberg-wellcom - indoor pool and outdoor pool in St. Anton.
On hot summer days, you can enjoy a refreshing and cold dip in the babbling Rosanna river, located in Pettneu.
Paragliding
Want to fly like a bird? Discover the gigantic mountain massifs, hidden turquoise blue mountain lakes and enjoy the magnificent view of our wonderful Arlberg region. The flying school Flight Connection, gives you the feeling of “flying like a bird” for a short amount of time.
Archery
Haven't you ever wanted to shoot an arrow as daringly as Robin Hood? Under expert guidance, you will learn the basics of archery and can also try your luck. Who knows, perhaps, you'll hit the bullseye straight away!
